See DION in Action

No account, no meeting. Click through what a student and teacher would see.

DION works alongside AI tools students already use, such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude. It isn’t another chatbot: the AI tool provides academic assistance, while DION applies the teacher’s boundaries.

Experience DION from both sides.

Choose an assignment or add your own, set the AI rules, and explore a simulated student session. Try researching, asking AI for help, and writing a document. Then switch to Teacher View to see how the student's activity is reflected in the Learning Process Record.

What if a student gets the answer one step at a time?

A student might open several separate AI conversations and ask for just one step of a problem in each. Individually, these requests may seem like ordinary help. But together, they could lead to a complete solution that the teacher intended the student to work through independently.

DION's initial conversation-aware math functionality has been implemented and tested automatically. We're continuing to verify how reliably it recognizes cumulative assistance across separate conversations and AI platforms during real student sessions.

Notice that the student never asks the AI to hold back the answer. The boundaries come from the educator's policy — the third request is restricted because the permitted assistance has accumulated across conversations, not because the student included or omitted any special wording.

Predefined fictional requests · illustrative responses · no live enforcement or automatic request analysis. This example does not establish a production assistance threshold or a guaranteed blocking step.

Example assignment

3x + 5 = 20

Teacher policy: limited guided assistance is permitted; AI providing the complete solution is restricted.
